Parent Feedback

What parents say

Real feedback from families whose children prepared for AEIS and adjusted into local school with confidence.

P1 AEIS Student

My daughter joined Auris Brick as a P1 student and initially struggled with online English assessments and Maths word problems. Teacher Jackie explained the English model papers and bar models clearly. She cleared the AEIS and is now doing well in her local school.

— Parent of P1 AEIS student

P3 AEIS Student

Word problems were my son's biggest hurdle when he joined in P3. Teacher Jackie broke down the bar model method in a way that finally clicked for him and his confidence grew alongside his scores. He passed the AEIS and has settled in well at his local school.

— Parent of P3 AEIS student

Secondary 2 AEIS Student

My child enrolled at Auris Brick to prepare for the Secondary 2 AEIS examination. Through the review programme, he grew in confidence and improved his answering techniques. With consistent guidance and support, he successfully passed the AEIS and is now studying in a local school.

Understanding How Your Child Learns

We observe each child’s engagement, confidence, and learning pace so our teachers can adjust support before small struggles become bigger ones.

Adaptive AEIS Practice

For AEIS students, practice is adjusted as they improve, helping them build confidence step by step while teachers guide the learning path.

AEIS Preparation
AEIS Preparation Programme
Primary (P2–P5)  ·  Secondary (S1–S3)  ·  CEQ Preparation
Focused AEIS preparation for international students seeking admission to Singapore mainstream schools
Small groups up to 6
What is AEIS and who is it for?
The Admissions Exercise for International Students (AEIS) is the MOE admission exercise for international students seeking a place in Singapore mainstream primary and secondary schools. Auris Brick’s AEIS Preparation Programme helps students prepare with focused support in the subjects relevant to their target level. Primary students receive preparation in CEQ and Mathematics, while Secondary students receive preparation in English and Mathematics.
Preparation planned around your child’s target intake
AEIS and S-AEIS follow different timelines, application windows, and school-start periods. We help families plan preparation around the child’s intended sitting, target level, and available preparation time, so lessons can focus on the areas that matter most before the exam.

Preparation is structured around the subjects and milestones relevant to your child’s target level
Primary and Secondary applicants follow different requirements, so preparation is guided by the child’s target level.
Primary · Cambridge English Qualification (CEQ) Preparation
CEQ
Cambridge English Qualification (CEQ)Primary AEIS applicants are required to submit a valid Cambridge English Qualification result as part of the application process. We help students prepare for the appropriate CEQ level based on the level they are applying for, covering reading, writing, listening, and speaking components.
Because CEQ results are needed for the Primary AEIS application, families are encouraged to plan early so results are ready before the application window.
Primary · Mathematics
Maths
Mathematics (Primary)Coverage includes number concepts, problem-solving strategies, measurement, geometry, and data handling and analysis based on the Singapore primary mathematics syllabus. Lessons emphasise word problems, logical reasoning, model-based approaches, and exam confidence through guided and timed practice.
Secondary · English & Mathematics
English
English (Secondary)Preparation focuses on comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, and structured writing skills relevant to the Secondary AEIS English examination. Students build confidence in answering common question types while improving clarity, accuracy, and time management.
Maths
Mathematics (Secondary)Topics include algebra, geometry, statistics, and problem-solving strategies commonly assessed in the Secondary AEIS Mathematics examination. Students practise with exam-style questions and receive focused support in areas where additional guidance may help.
Every student starts with an introductory review
Introductory review before regular lessons begin
Before regular lessons begin, each student attends an introductory trial session with a short review of the subjects relevant to their target level. This helps us understand their current level, confidence, and areas where support may help, so we can recommend a preparation plan that uses their time well.
Preparation plan built around the exam date
Once we understand the student’s target sitting, current level, and available preparation time, we suggest a practical preparation roadmap with clear focus areas. For Primary students, this may include a CEQ preparation phase before shifting more attention to Mathematics.
Learning format is discussed together
Some students do well in a small group with peers at a similar pace, while others benefit from 1-to-1 support, especially when the exam timeline is closer or confidence needs to be built more carefully. We discuss the options with the family and recommend a format that feels suitable for the child’s needs.
Practice papers and timed practice
As the exam approaches, lessons include more timed practice and exam-style questions. We review student work carefully to track progress, strengthen weaker areas, and help students become more comfortable with the exam format.
Fees shared on enquiry
Reach out via WhatsApp or the enquiry form and we will walk you through the formats and fees. No trial or commitment needed to ask.

We start by understanding your child’s situation
1
Reach out and tell us about your child
Contact us via WhatsApp or the enquiry form. Let us know your child's age, target AEIS level (Primary or Secondary), intended exam sitting (September or February), and any subjects you are most concerned about.
2
Attend an introductory trial session
The introductory trial session includes a short review of your child’s target subjects. From this, we understand their current level, learning pace, and areas where support may help before recommending the most suitable learning arrangement.
3
Review the recommended preparation plan
After the trial, we walk you through a recommended preparation plan built around your child’s target sitting and available preparation time. For Primary students, we can also guide families on planning around the CEQ requirement if it has not yet been completed.
4
Confirm enrolment and get started
We walk you through the recommended format, frequency, and fees based on your child's preparation plan. Once you are comfortable, we confirm the schedule and begin regular sessions.
Makeup sessions
One makeup session per month is available for absences with at least 24 hours advance notice. For sudden illness, a makeup session may be arranged if a valid medical certificate is provided. Requests for makeup sessions are reviewed based on the circumstances and available scheduling.
Withdrawal - monthly packages
We appreciate 14 days notice for monthly package withdrawals so class planning can be managed fairly for all students. Sessions scheduled within the notice period are non-refundable. Any remaining unused sessions beyond the notice period may be reviewed for refund or credit where applicable.
Withdrawal - term packages
Term packages are designed for students seeking more consistent preparation. Withdrawals after the start of term may be reviewed fairly based on sessions already attended. If a student passes AEIS and begins school before completing the package, remaining sessions may be reviewed for credit or refund where applicable.
Format changes
We understand that learning needs may change over time. Requests to adjust class format or lesson frequency can be discussed anytime and will be arranged based on suitable class and teacher availability.
Centre closures
If a session is affected by a public holiday or unforeseen centre closure, we will arrange a suitable replacement session or credit where appropriate.

Primary & Secondary Tuition
Tuition Programme
English & Mathematics  ·  Primary (P3–P6) and Secondary (S1–S4)
Focused small-group and 1-to-1 tuition for stronger foundations, confidence, and exam readiness
Small groups up to 6
Focused support in the subjects that matter most
Auris Brick offers tuition in English and Mathematics for primary and secondary school students. Instead of spreading across many subjects, we focus on the two core areas where students often need the most consistent support - helping them build stronger foundations, clearer thinking, and better confidence in school assessments.
Small-group matching designed around student fit
We take time to understand each child before recommending a class arrangement. When you enquire, we will ask about your child’s current level, preferred schedule, and the kind of support you are looking for. The introductory trial session then helps us better understand your child’s learning pace, confidence, and class fit before we suggest a suitable small-group or 1-to-1 arrangement.

Focused academic support with clear expectations and steady progress
Lessons are paced around each student’s current level
A student who needs to strengthen earlier concepts will not be pushed into a faster group simply because of age or school level. We use the introductory session and ongoing class observations to understand each student’s current level, then support them with an appropriate pace and level of challenge.
Small groups allow more attention and accountability
With small groups capped at up to 6 students, teachers can explain concepts, observe how students attempt questions, correct mistakes, and provide more guided practice than in large classroom settings.
Regular practice builds confidence over time
Students receive curriculum-aligned practice, feedback, and termly progress updates. The goal is not just to complete worksheets, but to help students build stronger habits, clearer understanding, and greater confidence over time.
School calendar and holidays
Our regular tuition schedule follows the Singapore school calendar. Weekly sessions usually run during school terms and pause during the school holidays. From time to time, optional holiday programmes or additional support sessions may be offered separately. Term dates and holiday arrangements will be shared in advance.
Makeup sessions
One makeup session per month is available for absences with at least 24 hours advance notice. For sudden illness, a makeup session may be arranged if a valid medical certificate is provided. Requests for makeup sessions are reviewed based on the circumstances and available scheduling.

We understand that learning needs may change over time. Requests to adjust class format, subjects, or lesson frequency can be discussed anytime and will be arranged based on suitable class and teacher availability.

A supportive setting with careful matching and clear communication
We begin with a parent conversation
Before your child’s trial, we have a short parent conversation to understand their background, current routines, existing support arrangements, and what you are hoping to work on. Families may share professional reports if they wish. This helps us prepare a suitable first session and decide whether the programme feels like a good fit.
Small groups are matched with care
For small-group sessions, we consider each child’s learning style, communication level, and support needs before suggesting a group. We aim to place children with peers where the pace and group dynamic feel supportive for everyone.
Frequency that fits your child
Session frequency is discussed and agreed based on your child's needs, existing routine, and support arrangements. We recommend a rhythm that gives your child time to rest and build confidence gradually — not one that feels rushed or overwhelming.
1-to-1 support is arranged thoughtfully
1-to-1 support is arranged after a parent conversation so we can understand your child’s needs, schedule preferences, and whether individual support is the most suitable format.
Learning updates are for enrichment support
Families receive simple updates after sessions based on what we observe during enrichment activities. These updates help parents understand what their child worked on, where they showed progress, and what we may gently focus on next. They are not clinical assessments, diagnoses, or official educational reports.
Designed as enrichment support
This programme is designed as short enrichment support rather than childcare, therapy, or extended care. Sessions focus on structured learning, routine, communication, and confidence in a supportive setting.
We start by understanding your child gently
1
Reach out and tell us about your child
Contact us via WhatsApp or the enquiry form. Share your child’s age, learning style, current routine, and what you are hoping to support.
2
Parent conversation
We have a brief conversation by WhatsApp, call, or in person to understand your child’s background, current support arrangements, and suitable next steps. You are welcome to share any reports if you have them, but this is not required.
3
Book an introductory trial session
An introductory trial session is arranged after the parent conversation. For small-group sessions, we will suggest a suitable group where possible, or arrange a gentle introductory session first before recommending the most suitable arrangement. For 1-to-1 support, we arrange a dedicated individual session.
4
Choose a suitable support rhythm
After the trial, we discuss what felt comfortable for your child and agree on a suitable weekly rhythm and format — small-group or 1-to-1 — based on what works best for your child.
5
Confirm enrolment and get started
Once enrolment is confirmed, your child begins regular sessions at the agreed slot.
Missed sessions
We understand that children may fall sick or have days when attending is difficult. If your child is unable to attend, let us know as early as you can and we will do our best to offer a suitable replacement slot when available.
Small-group continuity
Small-group sessions work best when children are thoughtfully matched. If a suitable peer is not immediately available, we will discuss the available options with the family and recommend the most suitable arrangement.
Withdrawal
If you wish to stop enrolment, please let us know in advance so we can manage class planning thoughtfully. We will review any remaining sessions fairly and discuss the available options with you.
Adjusting the support arrangement
As your child settles in, their needs may change. If you or our teachers feel that a different group, rhythm, or format may support your child better, we will discuss it together and agree on a suitable next step where possible.
Centre closures
If a session is affected by a public holiday or unforeseen centre closure, we will arrange a suitable replacement session or credit where appropriate.

A gentle, small-group setting with clear expectations
Guardian presence during sessions
A parent or guardian stays at the centre during the session. This helps younger children feel settled and supported while still allowing them to participate independently in the learning activities where appropriate.
Up to 4 children per session at all times
Groups are kept small, with up to 4 children per session, so each child can receive gentle guidance, encouragement, and age-appropriate support.
Once a week — by design
Sessions run once a week, which is the right rhythm for this age group. It gives children time to absorb what they have explored, rest, and come back ready to engage. This is the standard across preschool enrichment programmes in Singapore, and we believe it is the healthiest approach for young learners.
Designed as enrichment, not childcare
This is a short enrichment programme rather than a childcare or preschool replacement. Sessions focus on language, numeracy, creativity, and discovery in a warm small-group setting.
Complements your child’s existing routine
The programme is designed to complement your child’s preschool, childcare, or home routine through gentle developmental enrichment across language, numeracy, creativity, and social confidence. Parents receive simple updates after sessions so they know what their child explored and what we are gently building next.
We start by helping your child settle in gently
1
Book an introductory trial session
Contact us via WhatsApp or the enquiry form to schedule an introductory trial session. We will ask about your child’s age, current routine, and preferred morning schedule before suggesting a suitable slot.
2

After the trial, we walk you through the fees and confirm your child's weekly slot. Sessions run once a week at an agreed time that suits your family's morning routine.
3

Complete the enrolment details and share any information that helps us support your child well during sessions and keep you informed after each session.
4

We understand that young children may fall sick or have unsettled days. Missed preschool enrichment sessions are generally not refunded, but where advance notice is given, we will do our best to offer a suitable replacement slot when available.
