Auris Brick's Preparation for Racial Harmony Celebration
Practice is fun! Auris Brick is preparing for the Racial Harmony Celebration this Thursday, 20th of July.... Stay tuned!
During the launch, Racial Harmony Day was designated as one of several key events to be celebrated in schools as part of the programme. The day commemorates the communal riots that broke out on 21 July 1964 between Malays and Chinese during a Muslim procession celebrating the Prophet Muhammad's birthday in Singapore.
Racial Harmony Day (RHD) is reminding our pupils that social division weakens society, and that race and religion will always be potential fault-lines in Singapore's society.
